Founded 14 years ago, Condesa DF was set to become one of the capital’s classic hotels from the start. Its terrace has become one of the most popular in the area (for both foreigners and locals). The 1928 building—restored by architect Javier Sánchez— is a reference in the collective imagination of the Condesa neighborhood. Also, their Sunday brunch (with buffet and à la Carte options) is one of our favorites in the city.
The room to book
Condesa DF has 40 rooms in total, but our favorite room is the Corner Suite on the second floor. It overlooks the lush green Parque España, a spot immortalized in M Train, Patti Smith’s book of chronicles.
The dish to taste
Be sure to try any dish on Condesa DF’s iconic Japanese menu designed by sushi specialist, Keisuke Harada.
The drink to enjoy
Indulge in the Cucumber Mezcal Mojito. It is ideal for hot days when you can relax on the rooftop while in awe of the jacaranda trees’ purple flowers (in bloom during the month of March).
The main character
India Mahdavi is the interior designer behind the hotel’s timeless style.
A detail we love
A stay at Condesa DF means that you can use the hotel’s bikes to ride around the buzzing area.
